James Eckert joined New Jersey Resources in 2023 and serves as Vice President-Storage & Transportation. He is responsible for leading NJR’s S&T business, managing day-to-day operations activities, developing and executing strategic growth opportunities and driving operational and organizational efficiencies across its assets.
James has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry, leading functions including marketing, commercial operations, asset optimization, business development, gas scheduling, gas control, storage, operations planning, measurement and procurement across multiple natural gas pipelines.
Prior to joining NJR, James was Vice President of Marketing and Optimization at TC Energy, where he was responsible for customer service, marketing and optimization of the regulated, natural gas assets across the U.S. gas and storage footprint.
He is a graduate of Texas A&M University and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance.
Kevin Dixon joined New Jersey Resources in 2015. He leads marketing and business development for NJR Midstream managing relationships with current commercial customers and developing new growth opportunities. Additionally, Kevin leads the project execution team responsible for project development and execution.
Prior to his current role, Kevin served as Director, Marketing and Business Development for NJR Energy Services (NJRES) where he was responsible for origination and marketing for longer term customers. Before that, Kevin held several leadership positions at Columbia Pipeline Group within their commercial team where he had responsibility for optimization and logistics, customer services and fuel and measurement across the Company’s regulated transportation and storage assets.
Earlier in his career, Kevin served as Manager of Marketing for NJRES where he developed NJR’s producer services presence in key markets. He also held commercial positions at Williams Midstream and Devon Energy Corporation.
Kevin received his bachelor’s degree in Government and American Politics from the University of Virginia and received a graduate certificate from Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business.
Mike Martin joined the company in June 2013 and has over 25 years of experience in the oil/gas and power generation industry. He is responsible for all field operations of Leaf River Energy Center, LLC and Adelphia Gateway, LLC with an emphasis on HS&E, Reliability and Compliance. Mike has a wealth of experience in development, expansion and operation of natural gas storage and gas transportation infrastructure.
Prior to Leaf River, Mike was Regional Manager/Area Business Leader for Boardwalk Pipeline’s South Region where he led a team responsible for 600 miles of pipeline and 60,000 horsepower of compression moving two billion cubic feet of natural gas per day.
